Virtual Prayer and Fasting Conference

October 23-31, 2021

Join Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, for the International Week of Prayer and Fasting, a grassroots movement of Catholics and other Christians from around the world participating in a global network of prayer and fasting.

Today, our Catholic faith and the world face unprecedented moral crises. We have the legal killing of the innocent unborn up until the moment of birth; the accelerating breakdown of marriage and family life; and a deepening Church scandal that has rocked the faithful laity and clergy. In response to these crises, an international coalition of Catholic organizations has mobilized for the 29th International Week of Prayer and Fasting (IWOPF). The Coalition is uniting with the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, the Legion of Mary, Priests for Life, and many others for prayer and fasting.

The IWOPF brings together people of all ages, backgrounds, and races. From October 23-31, 2021, we gather to pray for an end to the “culture of death,” and for a newfound appreciation for basic human rights, particularly in the United States of America.

Some of the speakers include: Bishop Joseph Strickland; Fr. Frank Pavone; Susan Tassone; Fr. Chris Alar, MIC; Joan and Dave Maroney; Ted Flynn; Fr. David Gunter, MIC; Dr. Mark Miravalle; and many others. These virtual talks will take place throughout the nine days.

The International Week of Prayer and Fasting (IWOPF) is going to be free to watch online the entire week of Oct. 23-31.
