I have the book and following along. There is one thing that is bothering me. You wrote "to form every human being into "another Christ,". How can we be "another Christ" - there is only one Christ. Please explain as I find this a bit distrubing to me.

I first made this consecration using the old-school format, which I barely understood. But still continued it. Made it on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, May 13, 2011. I was 20 that time. And then, I saw a sign that Our Lady accepted my consecration. I joined WYD Madrid 2011. I didn't know that part of our side-trip was a pilgrimage to Fatima! Even though I barely understood what I was saying, Mary understood me the way a mother understood what her infant wants to express :)

I made this 33 retreat from June 13-July 16. The online link is helpful. I understand its purpose better this second time with detailed explanations and scripture references.

Stop and think about asking how to love a God with no physical presence. Touch of any kind is impossible, yet you recognize that deep yearning that draws you to a place unknown. What would the answer be, if you cried out,"How can I show you I love You?" Simply stated,"Trust Me."

Hello everyone. We are pleased that so many of you are doing the consecration. As for daily emails, we are not able to do that — yet. We will have the readings posted daily on:
• and through our Facebook page, "Divine Mercy (official)."

— God bless, from the Marian Fathers in Stockbridge, Massachusetts!

I originally make my consecration to Mary in 1980 and it definitely changed my life. I just turned 69 and am ready to renew and reconsecrate myself to Mary and to start a deeper relationship with Jesus through her. Thank you for this opportunity to join all of you on this retreat.

It took me a long time to connect the dots between what Jesus said on the cross, "Behold your mother." and "If you love me you will keep my commandments." If Jesus wants me to take his mother into my home - my heart, I am ready to do it. I have the book and am ready to begin.

I am so grateful to be able to join with everyone in the Consecration. I try to do this every year. It will be so special this year because it begins the Year of Mercy, but also because 12/8 will be my 60th birthday. I was fortunate to be able to go to the Veneration of St. Maria Goretti last weekend, and everything has fallen into place for me to learn more about Divine Mercy and how to truly live it in my life. Thank you for writing this wonderful book!

I'm looking forward to reconsecration on December 8th, the same day I first made my consecration two years ago. Thank you for the opportunity to do this so globally in preparation for the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. To those like myself who hesitated in the past because of confusion and fear over perhaps putting Mary ahead of Jesus, this retreat is for you! Fr. Gaitley makes it clear and accessible. Have courage and begin the journey!

If you feared making the consecration to the Immaculate heart of Mary, - put your fears away. I used the 33 days of Glory to consecrate myself to
Mary this past summer. It's a beautiufl journey and one that you will not regret doing. It is simple to do without guilt of fear of missing one day. However, I can say, I found myself looking forward each day to praying the consecration and reading of the four Holy Saints who had such a beautiful devotion to Mary. The consecration not only leads you closer to her heart but to her Son. It will be a wonderful way to prepare for the year of Mercy.

For a long time I have been thinking how much I would like to do the consecration. Now, one of my concerns have been answered... If I failed one day, I can pick it up and continue... I'm looking for to start the consecration on Thursday and let the Holy Spirit fill me with the light of our faith and the love of Our Mother and her beloved Son Jesus Christ.

I hope I can commit myself to completing this retreat as I do want to be a Great Saint for Jesus through Mary! Pray that I will succeed and turn my life over by this consecration

I have the book and am ready for November 5th to begin my Consecration. This devotion plus Saint Faustina and Divine Mercy will lead me to a better and more consecrated life during this Jubilee year. Thanks you for writing it.

I have been thinking about making the Consecration for a long time but I have always hesitated for what seems to be a fear that I cannot explain. My parents had me dedicated to the Blessed Mother on the day of my baptism and I renewed that dedication at ages 7 and 14. For some reason, I did not renew it at 21. I read a phrase in de Montfort's Consecration that speaks of us being slaves of Mary. I have always felt that I want to be a slave of Jesus alone. But I seriously desire holiness and want to be a saint. Since this Consecration will have the effect of bringing about this saintliness in us. I need help in overcoming this fear that lingers. I know that Mary is my Mother and that it was she who led me to Jesus in the first place. I want to take this next step. Can you help me?
