Dear Friends of the Marian Fathers and St. Agnes Academy,

Join us on Monday, September 11, 2023, for the 27th annual Slice of Heaven Charity Golf Classic at the Berkshire Hills Country Club. Help us celebrate our long history of serving the Berkshire community!

Over the years, Slice of Heaven has raised some $500,000 for local charities. Please join us in all the ways that you can as a sponsor, golfer, and/or raffle-ticket purchaser. You will help Marian seminarians and students at St. Agnes Academy in Dalton.

2023 Slice of Heaven Honorees

Brian and Megan Duquette

Brian and Megan Duquette live in Dalton with their three children Isabella, Sullivan, and Murphy, who are in eighth, sixth, and second grades at St. Agnes Academy. Megan and Brian both graduated from St. Agnes, Wahconah Regional High School, and Siena College. Brian pursed his graduate degree in Physical Therapy at New York Medical College and practices as a physical therapist at Berkshire Sports and PT. Megan received her Law Degree from Albany Law School and is the Associate General Counsel for Momentive Performance Materials in Niskayuna, New York.

Life-long parishioners of St. Agnes, both are Eucharistic Ministers. Megan serves on the St. Agnes Academy School Board and is in her second year as the PTO president. Brian has served on the School Board for the past 8 years and as the Chairperson for the last 4 years. They are involved in the coordination and operation of St. Agnes’s annual ice-cream booth at the Dalton Carnival. In addition, they have volunteered for the Dalton CRA, with Megan serving on the Board of Governors and Brian as a youth athletic coach.

Here’s how they describe their call to serve: Our St. Agnes education and Franciscan experience at Siena College, preached life-long values of “Service above self.” We believe we owe it to the next generation to create a safe and healthy environment that fosters positive interactions. The foundation of our childhood was built on this ideology from our parents and previous generations.
