Do you have a devotion to a particular Saint(s)?
Numerous saints, but I always say that the saint who has helped me a lot in my life, especially in seminary and priesthood, is St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Close runner-ups are St. Gianna Molla, St. Faustina, and St. John Paul II.
Do you have a favorite story from your ministry?
My first Christmas as a priest was very unique. I went snowmobiling on the Yukon River from village to village doing Mass.
One memory from my time at St. Patrick Parish is starting our tradition of attending the Steubenville Youth Conference back in 2007, which continues today. I have a lot of great memories of riding the coach bus (even 3 buses sometimes!) with the high school students to Steubenville, Ohio.
Favorite quote from the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska?
There are a lot, but when Jesus said,
The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy.” (Diary, 723)
Favorite prayer to Our Lady?
The Rosary and more specifically, the Memorare.
